Can the Packers Afford Nelson?

Jordy Nelson apparently wants $10 million dollars a year. Who doesn’t? But, considering his profession, is Nelson worth it? It was reported today that Packers wide receiver wants a new contract that would average $10 million dollars a year. If Nelson wants $10 million dollars as his base salary, it would put him tied as third in the league for the most amount of money being paid to a receiver, in regards to their base amount. He would be tied with the likes of Vincent Jackson and Andre Johnson and only behind Mike Wallace and Percy Harvin. Read more...
