Our Mission Statement
Downtown Eau Claire, Inc. (DECI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the development of business, housing, cultural resources, and activities within downtown Eau Claire.

DECI Background
DECI was founded in January 2002 as a result of Hyett Palma’s study to stimulate our community’s downtown. The DECI Board of Directors consists of twenty-one members who represent businesses, neighborhoods, government, and Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) that operate in Downtown Eau Claire. Public meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month at 7:30am.

 

 

 

Downtown Eau Claire is about authenticity and discovery, without the cookie-cutter options found in alternate destinations. It’s a place that is about people, what they do and what they like. Downtown Eau Claire offers visitors the arts, biking, classes, culture, food, dining, entertainment, farmers market, music, shopping — the entire spectrum of living. Ready for discovery. Ready to be called home. Or work. But definitely Nothing Artificial.
