3/29 Red Cedar Symphony “Scandinavian Treasures”

The Red Cedar Symphony presents: “Scandinavian Treasures”

 

Classical selections from Scandinavian composers will be performed by the Red Cedar Symphony under guest director Kevin Hoeschen at 7 p.m. on March 28 in Ladysmith, and at 4 p.m. on March 29 in Rice Lake.

The Ladysmith concert will be held at Ladysmith High School, 1700 Edgewood Avenue East, and the Rice Lake concert at the Red Cedar’s home in the UW-Barron County’s Fine Arts Theatre, 1800 College Drive.

Tickets for both concerts are $15 for adults, with those 21 years old and under admitted for free. Refreshments will be available during the intermission.

14th Annual Last Supper Drama

Wesley United Mathodist Church, in Marshfield, WI on the corner of 3rd and Maple.  

Join them as they portray the last moments before Jesus was taken away to be crucified.  Hear what each of the disciples has to say about their role and what the Messiah meant to them.  

Admission:  FREE  Child card will be provided and refreshments will follow each presentation.

4/11 Maggie Mae and the Heartland Country Band

Maggie Mae and the Heartland Country Band will be performing at the Pittsville School District Auditorium on Saturday, April 11th at 2 PM.  Maggie Mae is a featured performer on RFD TV. The Hospice Foundation of America’s 2015 Living with Grief Program – The Longest Loss: Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia

Description: This is a DVD presentation followed by a Q&A session with expert panalists. For professionals working in the field, but also practical for all levels of education – entry level, intermediate or advanced.

Fee: $50 per person includes program and refreshments. This program is valid for 3 hours of CE credit awarded by the Hospice Foundation of America (HFA). CE credit can be obtained directly through HFA through April 21, 2016 for an additional $15 fee. HFA is approved by more than 70 professional boards.

Description: Challenge yourself in this fast-paced week of instruction in all areas of percussion. We'll cover mallet, drum set, snare/basic technique, timpani, concert, and world percussion. 

Instruction will be divided into beginner, intermediate and advanced tracks for most lessons. No matter what your experience level, this camp is for you. We'll spend plenty of time playing the instruments and weave in lecture and discussion to build our understanding of the concepts being presented.
