YELLOWSTONE ART TRAIL -
FRIDAY & SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 & 20, 2014

The Yellowstone Art Trail is a free self-guided art tour which includes the towns of Cadott, Boyd & Stanley, Wi. Over 20 artists and 13 locations plus historical places of interest and specialty shops featuring locally made products.

9/19 - 9/21 12th Annual Oktoberfest

Come on out to the 12th Annual Chippewa Falls Oktoberfest! There will be plenty of entertainment and tasty food! Three day Adult Admission is $15. Wristbands can be bought at Chippewa Falls Chamber of Commerce, Gordy's County Market, Leinie Lodge, Mason Shoe Outlet Store, Northwestern Bank, Olson's Ice Cream Parlor, RCU Chippewa, and Leader Telegram.

Friday and Saturday all kids 12 and under are free with a paid adult, Sunday all kids admitted for free. There will also be free parking on Sunday.

Daily gate admission is $8.

9/20 Fall Family Festival

Grab your hat, step into your cowboy boot and join us for a day of good ole' western fun!

At this festival, there will be charcoaled chicken, hot dogs, beans, chips, treats, and more! There will be western themed games and prizes, carriage rides, pony rides, hay wagon rides, face painting, barn petting zoo, family western photos, line/square dancing workshop, horseshoe competition, cruzin' cream - ice cream and raffle, and dj'd music and dancing. 

There will also be an opportunity to go on a 2 hour or 4 hour trail ride through beautiful Barron County. Check in time is at 10 AM and departure is at 11 AM. You must pre-register for this trail ride by September 15th, and you must provide your own horse. 

Admission is free for this event, and there is also camping available for $15 for a site (no electricity). Call ahead to reserve your spot!

9/21 St. Joseph's Catholic Church Fall Festival

Join St. Joseph's Catholic Chruch for their Fall Festival! There will be an auction on the Church Grounds at 1 PM. This auction will feature wood and other items. Auction services donated by Jamie Stobb. 

There will be a dinner from 11:30 AM - 2 PM. This dinner will feature baked ham, turkey breast, mashed potatoes, rolls, vegetables, pie, coleslaw, milk, and coffee. Dinner is $8 for an adult, $4 for children ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and under. There will be carryouts available.

All day long, there will be a regular raffle, a Packer vs. Bears ticket raffle, silent auction, country store with baked goods and crafts, cake walk, fish pond, and games. The raffle drawings will be held at 2 PM. 

Some festival extras include the Lima Polka Choir at 9:30 AM and a Polka Mass at 10 AM.

9/22 - 10/10 GriefShare – Your journey from Mourning to Joy!

GriefShare – Your journey from Mourning to Joy!

 GriefShare is a special 12 week seminar and support group for people who are grieving the death of someone close to them. It is a place to be around people who understand what you are feeling. Along with death can come a whole host of other issues. For some there is anger, bitterness or unforgiveness. The video series deals with real people who have experienced loss. Grief hurts – there is help available.

 GriefShare will begin Monday, September 22nd from 7-8:30pm at the Roger Marten Center in Mondovi WI. There is no cost to attend.

 GriefShare – is offered through Family Matters of WI Inc – a ministry of Faith Community Church of WI Inc.
