5/31 ELEVA BROILER FESTIVAL

The Eleva Broiler Festival is asking for support and/or entries for their 57th Eleva Broiler Festival Parade which will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 1:30 pm

Broiler Fest is a community fund raiser, therefore they are suggesting a donation of $25.00 from any non-decorated commercial unit and all political units.  

All units will be judges, and awards given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, and also Best in Parade.   

Parade line-up is 11:30 at the Eleva Lake Park and starting time will be 1:30 pm sharp.

On May 31st we'll be wearing our leathers, serving up a free lunch and praying for our safety this season.

5K Color Run

-$15 pre registration

-$20 day of event

Description: Challenge yourself in this fast-paced week of instruction in all areas of percussion. We'll cover mallet, drum set, snare/basic technique, timpani, concert, and world percussion. 

Instruction will be divided into beginner, intermediate and advanced tracks for most lessons. No matter what your experience level, this camp is for you. We'll spend plenty of time playing the instruments and weave in lecture and discussion to build our understanding of the concepts being presented.

6/20 Lake Eau Claire Clear Water TRIATHLON and PICNIC

Lake Eau Claire Clear Water Triathlon and Picnic - 2015  happens on 

Saturday, June 20, 2015  on beautiful Lake Eau Claire, north of Augusta, WI. 

This event will take place at the C&G Hide Away Bar on Lake Eau Claire. (Take Hwy 27 north of Augusta, turn R on County Road ND) 

 

Join them in this fun family event as they raise fund for water quality improvement for Lake Eau Claire. 

This is a non-timed event and includes: 

2.5 mile walk/run 

1 mile paddle (kayak or canoe) and 

8 mile bike ride 

Entry fee includes a chicken dinner, beverages, raffles, and a live band for dancing.  Many various fundraising activities will take place - something for everyone!  

Whether you are a runner or not, bring your family out for a fun day!

Description: Explore the world of residential and landscape architecture! We'll start by learning basic architectural concepts, history, styles and vocabulary. Then YOU will design your own "dream home" using home design software. You'll draw up blueprints and build a scaled-down model of your home. We'll also take a field trip to meet some of the designers, engineers and architects that have led many local building and landscaping projects, including several on the university campus. If you've ever thought about a career in architecture, engineering, urban planning or drafting-or you just enjoy designing and building-this is the perfect summer camp for you!
