I am unabashedly Liberal, in the classical sense of Locke, Burke, Smith, Jefferson, et al.  My passion is to proclaim the truth about Liberty – our God given right. There are too many among us who don’t understand the gifts and the responsibilities of Liberty.  That’s where I come to disabuse the unenlightened of the fallacies of statism, marxism, fascism, socialism and communism.  You could say that I’m an Ismphobic.

My background is as varied and complex as they come.  I have reinvented myself so many times it makes my wife’s head spin.  My philosophy in life is that we are not static beings.  Oh I know some of us become hardened into “who we are” but that need not be the case.  We are creatures of God who have a fantastic capacity to evolve, to learn, to adjust and to learn from our mistakes.

If we really know who we are (persons created in God’s image), if we really understand where we come from in a historic and cultural perspective, and if we really accept that we have an extraordinary capacity to grow and change for the better, then we can never be chained down by the false belief systems pervading our society today.

In a nutshell, that’s who I am and I’m sticking to it.
